Tuition

‘Education is not the learning of facts but the training of the mind to think.’

- Albert Einstein

About:

As an experienced and qualified primary school teacher, I tailor the learning for each individual pupil according to his or her learning style. I plan, assess and teach with reference to the National Curriculum (2014) or to the Early Years Foundation Profile (2013). I involve each pupil with setting their own targets so that they feel a sense of ownership over their learning. This way the children’s confidence will grow as they begin to enjoy education. I provide one-to-one, or small group tuition.
Message to pupils:
Enjoy yourself and have fun! Learning can be exciting and mean something to you. We will mainly learn through games and practical activities. If you tell me what you enjoy, I will try to incorporate it into our learning. You can even set your own targets so that you will enjoy reaching them.
